Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CMM Programmer to join our team. As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for Measuring with the Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM) You will work closely with our development team to design and implement software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Job Purpose

Responsible for control of monitoring, measuring and initial inspection of parts at various stages of production.

Essential Functions

1. Create, execute, and run programs on the CMM machine.

2. Write Inspection Plans, including CMM fixturing set-up.

3. Train Inspectors to Inspectors to operate CMM per Inspection Plan.

4. Generate Inspection Results for PPAP submittal, including SPC.

5. Perform gage repeatability and reproducibility (GRR) studies, as needed.

6. Schedule and complete Annual Layouts for submittal.

7. Perform ongoing/sample Inspections, as needed.

8. Record, analyze and evaluate SPC data.

9. Calibrate fixtures and gauges.

10. Any other task(s) that may be assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Effectively communicate product quality requirements, inspection plans and CMM programs.

2. Comply and participate in awareness meetings and complicity of:

a. All company policies, procedures, and requirements

b. Health and Safety regulations

c. Quality Management Standards (IATF 16949:2016)

d. Environmental Management Standards (ISO 14001:2015)

Education, Experience and Competencies:

1. High school education and college is preferred.

2. Prior experience in quality control is preferred.

3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T.

4. Prior experience as CMM operator/programmer; preferably Micro-Vu

5. Interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be levelheaded and able work with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
